不料在机场阴差阳错的被女飞贼艾米丽（梅兰妮·杜迪MélanieDoutey饰）缠上，小果艾米丽身怀绝技、小果专偷名画的女贼艾米丽盗走了一幅价值不菲的名画，为了躲避警察的搜查，将偷取的名画放入了亚瑟的行李包中。

外星使者的飞船坠入大气层，小果最终摔在了中国某市的世界公园中。另一方面，产业之前与外星人交流失败的超级大国根据外星人留下的信息，穿梭世界各地寻找外星使者。

小果地球的命运朝着不可预测的方向发展……本片创意来自刘慈欣的科幻小说《乡村教师》。
